With a Bachelor of Commerce and experience in compliance as a Financial Planner in Australia and Canada, Emily has refined her expertise in New Zealand’s regulatory landscape while working with her local district council - gaining in-depth knowledge of the Building Act, Building Code, RMA, and council systems.
She is committed to professional development through the New Zealand Building Network and NZ Planning Institute, and contributes to her community through Welcoming Communities Central Otago. In 2022, Emily was awarded the Business South Newcomer Leadership Scholarship for her business and community leadership.
